    NEW DELHI: Beverage giant Coca-Cola is undertaking sweeping leadership changes across key functions, including marketing, strategy, insights and operations.The country's largest beverage maker is kicking off its most ambitious drive to return to growth after a year of flat sales and slowing profitability.Changes are being put in place under a new leadership both at Coca-Cola and its bottling arm Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), in midst of peak season for soft drinks.India is a core emerging market for the Atlanta-based giant and its sixth largest by volume.Sumanta Dutta, who was named vice-president (south west Asia) in January for five markets — including Nepal and Bhutan but excluding India — has moved out after over two decades.Coca-Cola marketing head Debabrata Mukherjee is moving out of the key function.At HCCB, Sanjay Sharma, executive director (supply chain) has also moved out.Mukherjee will no longer head of marketing, four years after heading the function and instead, is being relocated to another role as general management operations, for South West Asia — a market that does not include India.
